44TH DISTRICT COURT (2000)
The 44th District Court building consists of two stories with partial basement, two courtrooms with Judge's Chambers and support spaces, Magistrate's Courtroom, Jury Assembly, court offices, and archive storage. The Probation Department is located for evening hours use with lobby access only.
The building is situated to connect to a future police building for prisoner transfer. Construction contract included voice/data cabling, video court recording, fiber optic connection to city offices, rough-in for future video recording, complete duress alarm, court in session and jury ready signaling system, fire alarm and CCTV systems with multiple monitoring positions.
